Place your reservation for a half beef.

Purchasing a whole calf is the most economical option offered, at 15 cents less per pound than the half option. Purchasing a half is the second most economical option offered, also offering immense diversity in meal options due to the array of cuts available for custom request.

You will fill out a custom cut sheet. We can assist you with this process. This customized benefit allows you to gain a freezer full of beef that is cut just the way you prefer it!

Every calf is different and therefore, every order will vary. Typical yield is about; 38-40% ground and 60% roasts, various types of steaks and soup bones. 

A half of a calf yields between 125 to 225 lbs of boxed beef, bone in.

Our ranch keeps things simple and cattle are sold on the hoof, (per live pound) just as they are at the commercial market for the sake of the rancher and the buyer. There is no waiting to see weights and costs on hanging or boxed weight. You buy the half of the calf that we raised and you pay processing to the butcher for his or her work and it is as simple as that. 

Current price $2.80 per live pound, plus processing. Half of the live animal weight will be between 500 and 750 pounds at time of butchering. Processing varies between orders. A side of beef is usually between $450 and $650 depending on specifications. Deposit will be applied towards the total of your order.

Cattle are processed on a rolling calendar basis, meaning that we maintain different weights and ages at all times, thus some cattle are closer to processing than others, therefore, the date that your bulk order will be ready, will be hinged upon the order in which you reserved your calf and where that calf sits on the date range from being optimal for processing. Reservations are placed on calves in the order that deposits are received. Cattle will not be held back from sale without a full deposit set down. Your order will be butchered once your calf is ready, and your slot with the butcher is set. Please note, that bulk orders must be picked up by the buyer from the butcher, *or in special cases if arranged, picked up by the ranch delivery service, for a driver's fee. The ranch pick up service will deliver to our headquarters and must be picked up by buyer upon the set date.
