Whole Steer (Grain Finished) Deposit

$3.50 / lb live weight for the calf (~1450 lbs. give or take) plus processing (~$973.00) 

* friends can split a steer and each get half 

Process:

1. reserve steer by setting down deposit & sign cattle buyers contract 

2. fill out cut sheet ( we can help with this!)

3. pay rancher remainder day before processing 

4. pay processor once processed (usually a little over 21 days after processing)

5. pick up beef or pay for ranch delivery when available 

Buyer pays processing directly to the butcher before beef can be picked up (typically 3-5 weeks after drop off). Prices are pending on specifications and size of individual calf purchased.

Cattle will typically weigh between 1250 and 2,000 pounds live weight, with an average around  1450-1900 lbs.

Pick up: customers pick up from butcher or hire our driver upon availability

$1,000.00 due upon reservation. This process is similar to if you just picked out a calf at the market, you would need to pay for it in full before driving off with it. Here you put up significant money that helps your rancher with upfront operating costs to graze the animal on limited pastures. This process weeds out any non-committed buyers rapidly. (You set down money on the front end, paying the ranch upfront versus way later). This helps so very much in the way of operating capitol per calf. Exact weight will be calculated and billed before processing date after we weigh the steer on our certified scale. Payment to processor is due upon beef pick up.
